Odin swung Gungnir to block Bor's lightning-wreathed spear and shouted, "King Bor, my father, I'm sorry, but I must defeat you."
"Why do I get the feeling you're a little excited?"
King Bor quipped, then said, "Come, Odin Borson, my second son. Defeat me and put an end to this damned mess."
"All right."
Odin shouted, and then... then King Bor beat him back relentlessly. King Bor looked utterly unimpressed. That's it?
Meanwhile, Little Hela faced King Buri. "Grandfather—er, no, you should be my great-grandfather. I'll lay you to rest for good."
"Such pure death power. Better still, you haven't been affected by your Death Godhood."
King Buri's eyes lit up at the sight of Little Hela. "You have more potential than any of us.
"Great-granddaughter, thanks to the World Tree and our Godhood, it's easy for our line of God Kings to become Skyfathers. But in the later stages, we stagnate, unable to break through to the singularity universe level.
"You're on the right path. Keep going."
"Great-grandfather, I won't disappoint you."
Little Hela flicked both hands, and countless Black Swords appeared in the sky, raining down on King Buri in a dense barrage.
King Buri destroyed the Black Swords while passing his experience on to Little Hela. Of course, he didn't hold back, nor could he.
Thor faced Thanos. He swung his lightning-covered Stormbreaker at Thanos with all his strength and roared, "Thanos, you'll pay for this!"
"You think you can make me?"
Thanos raised his Tyrant's Battle Blade to block Thor's Stormbreaker. Then his eyes blazed purple, and a powerful wave of purple energy erupted from the Tyrant's Battle Blade, blasting Thor away.
Thanos was no longer the man he had once been. He could freely control cosmic energy, just like the Celestials.
Thor immediately flew back.
