"What nonsense are you talking about?"
Gwen, embarrassed and angry, punched Andrew. Andrew handed her a bottle of water and said, "Gwen, the biggest difference between humans and beasts is that humans use tools. If you want to protect yourself, besides training, you also need to learn how to use tools."
Gwen took the water and drank a sip. "Use tools?"
"Take Spider-Man as an example. His webbing is a tool. Without it, his combat ability would drop drastically."
Andrew said, "However, Spider-Man doesn't make enough use of his webbing. He should modify his web-shooters to give them multiple firing modes, such as an electric current mode, web ball mode, web net mode, and so on."
Gwen pondered this. "Modify the web-shooters?"
"Right. Besides the web-shooters, Spider-Man could also get some special weapons, like police batons."
Andrew nodded. "Spider-Man fights bare-handed and has to brawl with criminals for ages every time. Not only is that dangerous, it also damages public property. Director George has always wanted to catch him and make him pay for it."
"My dad really hates Spider-Man. He curses him out at home all the time."
Gwen laughed, but then she remembered something, and her smile froze—she was about to become a second Spider-Man.
"You're practically a scientist. I believe you understand the importance of tools. The brain is humanity's most precious asset."
Andrew said, "All right, let's continue training. Next, we'll train with ranged weapons. Start with darts, and in a few days, I'll take you to the shooting range to fire some guns."
Gwen stared at him. "Guns? Is that really necessary?"
Andrew nodded with absolute certainty. "Of course it is. If you don't understand firearm performance or their actual destructive power, how will you defend yourself? I'll familiarize you with all kinds of guns.
