"I can't open the Space Channel."
Arthur told Karason what had happened earlier and asked, "Karason, do you know what's going on?"
"Are you seriously expecting a monster to understand such a complicated problem? Is something wrong with your brain?"
Karason snarked. Arthur's face darkened. He was actually being looked down on by a monster?
Queen Atlanna soothed him, "Arthur, don't panic. There must be a way."
"Mom, I can't afford not to panic. I have to get out and stop Orm. Otherwise, the ocean and the land will go to war, and a lot—a lot—of people will die."
Arthur shook his head and tried several more times, but it still didn't work. Furious, he slammed the Trident of Poseidon into the ground. This piece of junk had to be broken.
Queen Atlanna sighed. She had not expected Arthur, like her, to be trapped in the Sunken Sea of the Earth's Core. Fate had been far too cruel to her.
"Are we really going to be trapped here?"
Arthur was starting to lose it. He looked at Superman flying through the sky, and a thought suddenly popped into his mind. There are only three people on this island. If enough time passes, will Superman get together with my mom?
Fuck, wouldn't that make Superman my stepfather?
I treat you like a friend, and you want to become my stepfather?
Arthur could not accept such a thing, much less accept the devastation happening outside. He hurriedly picked up the Trident of Poseidon and continued trying. No matter what, he had to get out.
Meanwhile, at the Mariana Trench, a strange-looking alien with dark light flickering in his eyes floated outside the Lightning Vortex, holding a special device.
This Lightning Vortex was the entrance to the Sunken Sea of the Earth's Core.
