Diana said to Barbara, "There's nothing wrong with wanting a better life. Everyone has that right. But hurting others is wrong. And Barbara, you do have a friend. I'm your friend."
"Wow, a friend who hasn't called in thirty years? I'm so touched."
Barbara sneered and swiftly transformed into Cheetah. Then she shouted, "Diana, I know you're strong, but I'm no weaker than you. I'm the ultimate predator."
Diana sighed, preparing to subdue Barbara by force. "Barbara, you have no idea how strong I am now."
And so a battle seemingly ordained by fate erupted. Three minutes later, Barbara, who had been swaggering and shouting just moments earlier, lay on the ground, charred all over and utterly defeated.
That was hardly surprising. This universe's Diana was far stronger than the original. With Mirage Magic, golden lightning, and a duplicate almost as powerful as herself, defeating Barbara really wasn't a problem.
"Barbara, I'll take you back and find a way to return you to normal."
Diana walked over to Barbara as she spoke. Shocked and furious, Barbara hurriedly called out to the God of Lies for help in her mind.
"Don't panic. Hancock and Poison Ivy are on their way to you."
Barbara brightened at the God of Lies' words. With the three of them working together, they should be able to escape Diana.
Unaware of any of this, Diana picked Barbara up and prepared to fly back. Just then, Poison Ivy and Hancock appeared on the horizon.
"Diana, my reinforcements are here. Don't even think about changing me back. I'll never go back."
Barbara burst out laughing. Diana was about to speak when Poison Ivy and Hancock suddenly changed direction and fled into the distance.
