"Good. Activate the Wristwatch's covert communication function. It'll transmit the sound straight into your ears, so only you can hear it."
Batman spoke, and Harcourt sighed. She knew what he meant: the Justice League had already called dibs on Shazam.
Harcourt did nothing more, since she didn't dare poach someone from Mr. Wang. She asked, "Batman, what do we do next? Argus and the Justice Society will give you our full support."
Hawkman was a little reluctant, but he didn't object. Batman's reputation spoke for itself. He had protected Gotham for decades and was also the Justice League's strategist-in-waiting.
Doctor Fate was still pondering the images he had seen earlier, and he raised no objections either.
As for Atom Smasher and Cyclone, they had a very favorable impression of the Justice League, so naturally, neither objected.
With that settled, Batman began explaining his plan in detail. After considering it, everyone nodded in agreement.
Up in the sky, Dr. Sivana was still absorbing sin qi when he suddenly sensed something. He snapped his head down toward the right, where an aura made him deeply uncomfortable.
"It's Shazam's aura."
Pride said, "Shazam is here, and he's using magic. What you just sensed was Shazam's divine power."
"Shazam is here? He's found us?"
Dr. Sivana was startled. Pride said, "He can't find us. We made preparations earlier. Apart from the Old Mage, who's already dead, no one can detect us.
"This might just be a coincidence. Shazam could be from Gotham, for instance."
Gluttony said, "This is a perfect opportunity. Charge over and devour him."
"We can't rush this."
Dr. Sivana thought for a moment, then said, "Take control of a puppet and see what Shazam is doing."
Although the Seven Deadly Sins thought Dr. Sivana was being rather fussy, they didn't object.
