Andrew wouldn't let Darkseid occupy Earth. For one thing, he needed this Earth to collect fear force. For another, who knew whether Darkseid might punch through a space channel and head to the DC Universe?
Besides, Andrew wanted to use Injustice Superman to find out how powerful Darkseid was. Earth in the DC Universe would run into Darkseid sooner or later. There was no doubt about that.
