"Are you Power Boy?"
Mr. Power, covered in wounds, stared in astonishment. Power Boy was his die-hard fan, often taking it upon himself to help Mr. Power and calling himself Power Boy.
Unfortunately, Power Boy always made things worse. On top of that, Mr. Power did not like having children around him, so after one incident, he gave the boy a harsh scolding and drove him away.
After that, Power Boy vanished. Mr. Power had never expected him to appear here.
"Power Boy? That name sounds awful. I changed it. I'm Kid Power."
Kid Power said, "You know what? After you scolded me, I understood the truth of life: people must rely on themselves, not others.
"So, over the past few years, I devoted myself to research, trying to create robots capable of dealing with superheroes like you. I succeeded. Mr. Power, Elastic Supergirl, today, you will both become my captives."
"Robots to deal with superheroes? Why do you want to deal with superheroes?"
Thinking of something, Mr. Power asked, "Were you behind Ice Man and the others disappearing?"
"Yes. I needed them to test my robots, to make the robots stronger and stronger until they could defeat you. It also got rid of some competitors."
Kid Power said, "I planned to eliminate all the superheroes in New York, then send that big guy to destroy New York before saving it as the Savior.
"Then, I would become the most popular superhero in all of New York."
"You did all this just to become the most popular superhero in New York?"
Mr. Power and Elastic Supergirl were both speechless. Had this kid been kicked in the head by a donkey when he was young?
"Not just New York. I will become the most popular superhero on Earth."
