Qbert was about to speak when a hulking figure came running up from beneath the Bifrost and asked in shock, "Vanellope is a princess? Isn't she a system glitch?"

Qbert asked in surprise. The hulking figure was Destruction King Ralph. He had enormous hands, wore overalls, and had a gleaming gold medal on his chest.
"Qbert?"
Ralph was startled too. Then he turned to Andrew and demanded loudly, "Did you just say Vanellope is a princess?"
"Yes. She's this game's featured character. Her poster is even on the outside of the arcade cabinet."
Andrew asked, "Is there a problem?"
"Of course there's a problem!" Ralph shouted. "Vanellope isn't a princess. She's a system glitch! This country is ruled by the Sugar King, and he's an old man."
"Doesn't that sound suspicious right off the bat? Why would a game designed for girls feature an old man?"
Andrew shook his head and said, "Apart from the candies in the audience and Sour Bill, the referee, every racer is female."
