"Is this world doomed?"
Hearing Sergeant Calhoun's words, the Sugar King made up his mind and turned to flee.
Andrew stuck out a foot and tripped the Sugar King, sending him tumbling across the ground. Even his crown fell off.
"Did I give you permission to leave?" Andrew asked coolly.
"Kill him!"
The Sugar King roared, and the Chocolate Giant immediately charged at Andrew with a bellow. Ralph and Sergeant Calhoun hurried forward to intercept him.
"Why do you have to open your mouth so wide?"
Andrew plucked out a strand of his hair and tossed it at the Chocolate Giant. In midair, the hair reverted to photon energy, which then formed a chip and flew into the Chocolate Giant's mouth.
The Chocolate Giant stopped in his tracks. A moment later, he obediently took his place beside Andrew, looking like a loyal dog.
Everyone stared, dumbfounded. What was going on? How could a single hair make the Chocolate Giant obey him?
"That's impossible!" the Sugar King cried in shock.
"The key isn't the hair. It's photon energy. It can form other substances."
"Besides, that chip doesn't work on normal people," Andrew said. "The Chocolate Giant isn't very intelligent, which is why he was so easy to control."

Everyone nodded. They didn't understand, but it sounded impressive.
"Watch the Sugar King. Don't let him escape."
