Inside the aliens' spaceship, besides a large array of photon instruments, there was also the prisoner the aliens had taken during the first battle. They had kept him locked up below as a trophy.
Andrew rescued the poor soldier and delivered him to the army, leaving them to sort things out themselves.
Putting that aside for now, in Hell, Mechanical Trigon was fighting the Serpent.
The Serpent thrust both hands forward, sending a barrage of black spatial ripples at Mechanical Trigon. Mechanical Trigon raised his left hand and snapped his fingers, and time around him abruptly slowed.
Unaffected himself, Mechanical Trigon charged up to the Serpent and threw a punch at his head like a falling meteor.
The Serpent sensed Mechanical Trigon's attack, but everything he did was now in slow motion. He had no way to stop him.
Boom! Mechanical Trigon punched the Serpent into the ground, sending up a huge cloud of dust.
Then Mechanical Trigon raised his hand. The metal on his body turned into countless tiny figures thinner than strands of hair. They landed on the Serpent and quickly burrowed into his body.
The Serpent was not flesh and blood. His body was composed of photon energy, and anyone else would have been unable to control him.
But Mechanical Trigon was an exception, because he was Andrew. When it came to research into photon energy, Andrew was arguably the foremost expert on Earth.
Of course, before long, he would become the foremost expert in the universe.
The tiny figures rushed into the Serpent's body and rapidly destroyed his energy nodes. Alarmed, the Serpent began radiating a dazzling light, but it was immediately interrupted.
There was nothing he could do. With time slowed around him, the Serpent had no way to fight Mechanical Trigon.
Given enough time,
