"Zombies! There are zombies outside!"
Seeing everyone crowd around him, Kurt hurriedly shouted. Everyone was stunned, and Hodden said, "Zombies? Kurt, that's not scientific."
"Haven't you heard? Science is dead. Burn paper if you need anything."
Andrew walked in carrying a rifle and shut the door.
Then he shouted, "College students, seal all the doors and windows if you don't want to be bitten to death by zombies."
"Mr. Andrew."
Everyone was astonished.
Kurt hurriedly said, "Do as Mr. Andrew says. If it weren't for him, I'd already be dead."
Hodden and Dana were only half-convinced, while Marty immediately went to shut the windows.
Though he represented The Fool, he was not stupid.
When Hodden saw this, he followed Marty to close the windows.
The moment he reached one, however, he saw a rotten zombie head poke inside and growl at him.
Hodden staggered backward in fright.
Andrew raised his rifle and shot the zombie head back, then quickly stepped forward to close the window. "Move the tables and brace the doors."
This time, Hodden and Dana no longer doubted the zombies and hurriedly did as they were told.
The group fumbled around for quite a while before finally shutting all the windows and blocking them with whatever they could find.
The zombies kept slamming against the outside, but they could not get in.
Kurt collapsed onto the floor, gasping for breath. They had finally escaped disaster.
Andrew said, "Dana, see if there's a first-aid kit. Kurt needs his wound treated immediately."
"That spiked thing could have been buried for who knew how many years. Tetanus would be easy to get.
"The rest of you, grab whatever weapons you can and guard the living room."
