Sand billowed everywhere. No one could see, and they were even forced to close their eyes. The Armed Robots had no such problem, but giant hands made of yellow sand seized them one after another and buried them.
Clearly, Imhotep had singled out the Armed Robots.
After about five minutes, the sandstorm finally subsided. Many people were buried in the sand, looking utterly miserable.
"Where's Imhotep?"
Adesbay crawled out of the sand and looked around anxiously, only to discover that Imhotep had long since vanished. The Curator and his people were gone as well.
In other words, after whipping up the sandstorm, Imhotep had escaped with his people.
"Now we're in trouble."
Adesbay's expression turned grim. As time passed, Imhotep would only grow stronger. The Tomb Keeper clan was about to fail in its mission.
"That Imhotep is a sly bastard."
O'Connell emerged from the sand with the black cat in his arms and cursed. Andrew flew over on a surfboard and said, "Let's rescue everyone first. We can discuss Imhotep later."
Adesbay and O'Connell nodded and began rescuing people. For now, that was all they could do.
Then the Armed Robots flew out of the sand one after another. Under Adesbay and O'Connell's direction, they began rescuing people.
Just then, Jonathan stumbled out of the tomb, clutching a book with a golden cover. He shouted, "Bad news! That monster took Evie!"
"What?"
Everyone was startled. So Imhotep and his people had escaped through the tomb.
Has Evie gone from Ip Man to Tang Monk?
Andrew silently snarked, then asked, "Jonathan, what exactly happened?"
"Earlier, Evie and I found where the Book of the Dead was supposed to be and had three Armed Robots dig it up."
Jonathan said, "But what they dug up wasn't the Book of the Dead.
