Evie was not so lucky. As soon as she entered, she saw a cheetah tearing into its prey. She screamed in fright, immediately turned around, and ran.

Hearing the commotion behind her, Evie hurriedly looked back. When she saw that help had arrived, she let out a sigh of relief and stopped, panting hard.
Looking at the valiant O'Connell, Evie suddenly felt that this uncouth brute might not be so hard to accept after all.
