"I really don't think you can destroy the world."
O'Connell slashed at Imhotep's neck with ferocious speed. That was something he had learned from video games: whether you were fighting zombies or mummies, you went for the neck.
Imhotep hurriedly dodged, then raised his right hand and grabbed O'Connell's arm, trying to drain his life force. The problem was that O'Connell now had a mechanical body. Where was he supposed to get any life force?

Imhotep could only dodge again. O'Connell was about to pursue him when the severed right hand suddenly sprang off the ground, thrusting two fingers toward O'Connell's mechanical eyes.
Imhotep had been sealed away for thousands of years and had no idea what the hell technology was, but that did not stop him from attacking a robot's eyes. Whatever kind of creature you were, your eyes were a weak point.
Mechanical or not, those eyes were still fragile. O'Connell's vision instantly went dark, and he instinctively backed away while reaching up to grab the right hand on his face.
Imhotep smugly recalled his severed hand and placed it back against the wound. Then he skirted around O'Connell and raced toward the three mercenaries.
"Mr. Wang, does the Armed Robot have backup eyes?"
O'Connell hurriedly asked, "Or any other sensory systems?"
"Yes."
Andrew said, "Every Armed Robot carries a small reconnaissance drone. Use its eyes in place of yours."
"Fantastic! One day, I'm definitely buying an Armed Robot to help me out."
Delighted, O'Connell immediately began switching visual systems. Just then, Evelyn's voice rang out. "Great idea. Too bad you can't afford one."
O'Connell's expression darkened. *Did she have to point out the painful truth? And
