Evie glared angrily at Andrew. If you hadn't spouted all that nonsense, would I have fallen for this big oaf? Though he is very manly and strong, and makes me feel very safe.

"You think it wasn't fate, but it actually was."

Andrew smiled without elaborating. "O'Connell, you've got good potential. Interested in joining the Men in Black training camp?"

"Very interested."

O'Connell's eyes lit up as he answered. The Men in Black were not just the coolest agents around; they also had all sorts of incredible equipment. It was practically his dream job.

"Good. Report in a few days. Oh, and Evie, keep this as a souvenir."

Andrew tossed the Grim Reaper Bracelet to Evie. The bracelet had fulfilled its historical purpose and was no longer of much use.

Well, saying it was useless was not quite right. The bracelet was made entirely of gold and weighed at least five jin, so it would fetch a handsome price. It was also an antique in its own right.
