Ch. 61Contract

Andrew subdued General Ross and the soldiers, then offered Doctor Banner a deal to separate him from Hulk in exchange for his soul after death. Banner accepted a contract that barred Andrew from using Hulk to commit evil on a large scale.

  • Norman told General Ross his serum had a second stage, and Ross ordered the Military to have S.H.I.E.L.D. search for Banner through the names Mr. Lan and Mr. Green.

Ch. 67Laser

Tony fought Ivan and Obadiah’s Iron Suits until Psylocke, the X-Men, and Spider-Man arrived to help, while Wade’s entrance bewildered the battle. At Grayburn Academy, Blonsky and the Enhanced Soldiers killed the remaining ordinary soldiers as Dr. Sterns feared he would not escape.

  • Tony cut down more than half of Ivan’s Unmanned Armors with his hand lasers, then Ivan used his control over Rhodes’s Battle Suit to trap Tony and attack him with the Electric Whip.
  • Obadiah and the remaining Unmanned Armors fired on Tony, blasting him to the ground before Ivan could strike again.
  • Psylocke arrived and cut Ivan’s Electric Whip, then the X-Men and Spider-Man joined the fight against Ivan and Obadiah’s forces.
  • Psylocke revealed that Pepper had hired her, and Wade rushed into the warehouse asking Tony to seduce him so he could earn extra pay.

Ch. 68Abomination

Blonsky and four Enhanced Soldiers became Abominations after Dr. Sterns injected them with Hulk's Blood and exposed them to gamma rays, and the five monsters began slaughtering their way through New York. Andrew saved Dr. Sterns and recruited him, while General Ross and Natasha sent their forces to confront the Abominations as the disaster spread.

  • Blonsky and four Enhanced Soldiers forced Dr. Sterns to transform them, and all five became Abominations.
  • Andrew rescued Dr. Sterns from Blonsky, secured his Contract, and later took him to Rebirth Hell after Hulk's Blood began turning him into The Leader.

  • Barton fled Blonsky, Wolverine fought Abomination Two, and Norman attacked Abomination Three with missiles, an energy gun, and Pumpkin Bombs, killing civilians in the process.
  • Frank and Howard descended in their Iron Suits to hold back Abominations Four and Five while soldiers and agents supported them.

Ch. 71Seizure

Doctor Banner struggled against Blonsky while Natasha's team fought Bucky and an armored man over Hulk's Blood. Across the city, the battles continued until a massive explosion shook Queens and Manhattan, leaving its cause unknown.

  • Doctor Banner charged Blonsky but was badly beaten, and Blonsky pressed him to keep fighting.
  • Natasha's team confronted Winter Soldier Bucky and a man wearing Exoskeleton Armor powered by an Arc Reactor as they tried to take Hulk's Blood.
  • Natasha threw vials of Hulk's Blood at the armored man while Bucky killed the agents holding him back.
  • Andrew sent Howard to the laboratory, where Howard joined the fight against Bucky and the armored man as Natasha recovered nearby.

Ch. 72Explosion

Iron Man and the X-Men fought Ivan and Obadiah while Ivan rigged the Arc Reactors to explode. The blast destroyed Hammer Industries' warehouse, but the heroes survived, and Tony pursued the villains toward Manhattan with Psylocke.

  • Hulk arrived on Broadway Avenue and fought Blonsky, overpowering him in a destructive street battle.
  • Andrew decided he had harvested enough souls and prepared to end the disaster.
  • The four Abominations stopped fighting and surrounded Andrew when he appeared beside Doctor Banner.
  • Andrew learned that Doctor Banner could no longer turn back into his original form because he did not know how.

Ch. 75One Shot Settles It

Andrew Wang effortlessly killed the four Abominations with a Hellfire Bullet while the other battles continued. Obadiah and Ivan escaped, and Howard stunned Tony by revealing that Tony’s father had been murdered.

  • Andrew Wang summoned a rifle, fired a curving Hellfire Bullet through Abomination Two, Abomination Three, Abomination Four, and Abomination Five, then caught it as the four Abominations fell dead.

  • Howard kicked Tony down, scolded him for risking his life without heirs, and left with Frank aboard the spaceship.

After the Broadway battle, Andrew gained souls and recruited The Leader to research cures, while the fallout reshaped the lives and fortunes of Banner, Ross, Hammer, and Osborn. The chapter ended with Tony explaining to Pepper why he had bought a space station for Dr. Reed's experiment.

  • General Ross collapsed after reporters questioned him, while Betty asked Bruce Banner how he felt and learned he might never change back.
  • Andrew welcomed Dr. Sterns, also known as The Leader, and assigned him to research cures for illnesses in Hell.

Ch. 78Preparation

Tony investigated the suspicious circumstances surrounding Howard's death while Dr. Reed prepared for the Cosmic Storm Project, hoping it would help him win Susan back. Meanwhile, Andrew and Gwen encountered gunfire and a vehicle collision in Manhattan.

Andrew recognized the fleeing drivers as members of the Assassin Brotherhood and sent Yelena and the Black Widows to seize their Loom of Fate and recovery serum. The Brotherhood escaped S.H.I.E.L.D.’s assault, and Sloan and Fire Fox brought down a pursuing Quinjet with curved bullets.

  • Andrew saw Fire Fox kill a pursuing agent with a curved bullet and explained the Assassin Brotherhood’s mission to Gwen.

Ch. 80Helping Out

The Brotherhood of Mutants rescued Sloan and his companions from S.H.I.E.L.D., then captured them and revealed their plans to recruit the assassins. Andrew obtained the Loom of Fate and other intelligence from the textile factory raid, while Sloan and Fire Fox agreed to reclaim the Loom and continue their mission.

  • Mutant Mist used her fog to help Sloan and the escaped assassins evade Garrett's forces, disguising them as supporters of the Mutant Registration Act at Senator Kelly's rally.
  • Mist incapacitated Sloan and the others as they tried to leave, while Garrett learned that the textile factory had been breached and the Loom and prisoners were missing.
