Chapter Summaries

Bug God pursued The Atom and Orm into the Quantum Realm, where Andrew’s team arrived to fight her. Meanwhile, Andrew staged a desperate battle against the nine Death Angels while Ghost Rider’s blood corrupted them, and he left the outcome of both conflicts unresolved.

• Bug God entered the Quantum Realm to seize The Atom and Orm, but Doctor Manhattan rescued their ship and brought them out.
• Diana, Doctor Manhattan, Rorschach, Wade, The Atom, and Orm joined forces against Bug God and her Zerg World as Diana summoned her War Domain.
• Andrew and Ability Armor entered the Core Space, where Andrew misidentified the nine Death Angels as Virus Angels and Ability Armor attacked their nutrient tanks.
• The Death Angels awakened and began absorbing viruses from Big Bear City’s zombies, but Ability Armor tried to destroy the virus cloud before they knocked him into a crater.

• Black Lantern Rings revived the zombies in Star City, and Green Lantern discovered that destroying them only led to their resurrection.
• The Rings brought all nine fallen Demon Kings back to life, forcing Mechanical Trigon and the others to resume fighting them.
• Cosmic Consciousness revealed that the Black Lantern Corps was its true trump card and claimed the White Lantern Ring could no longer appear.
