Far away.

Consciousnesses rose and fell one after another.

Now and then, a few thoughts drifted about within them.

Sometimes they were communicating, and sometimes they were talking to themselves.

The time still hasn't come...

These long, endless years are truly filled with waiting—endless waiting...

Although they harbored no malice, they simply existed and flowed.

These consciousnesses remained like enormous sources of interference, continuously distorting the surrounding spacetime and everything within it. They caused waves of invisible turbulence to echo through this silent void, and amid the rise and fall of those tides, one spacetime after another was born soundlessly, only to vanish soundlessly as well.

In an extremely short span of time.

Countless pieces of information completed their exchange within the void.

This allowed the various great beings to communicate at an astonishing speed.

The emergence and destruction of those spacetimes were like ripples stirred across a lake by a gentle breeze.

Throughout the entire process.

Some beings would even draw information from them during the birth and destruction of spacetime, as naturally as breathing air.

It was the various sensations experienced and insights gained by countless departed lifeforms as indigenous lifeforms within their respective spacetimes over their long lifespans.

Everything they had accumulated throughout their lives—all their knowledge, strength, emotions... all of it was included.

These intangible things were derived through the various indigenous lifeforms, then ultimately gathered in the void at the end of time, providing their Creation Gods with a little entertainment...

It was like a certain kind of transaction.

The Creators produced the spacetime, environments, materials, and everything else on which indigenous lifeforms depended for survival. In exchange, at the end of the world, all the fruits of their efforts would belong to the Creators.

From various perspectives, this could not really be considered evil.
