Executioner of Fairness—Ecto. Collon.

That was the title and name of the speaker just now, the dark-red metallic bird.

A special lifeform born from countless random convergences of Chaos Energy, one that could be said to constitute a race all by itself, with no kindred whatsoever.

As far as Ectocollon was concerned.

If they had to name any kindred in this world, then perhaps only the Awakened could be considered their kindred.

Any lifeform that successfully became Awakened afterward.

Compared to their original races, there was no doubt that the identity of being Awakened was far more important.

That was also because of this factor.

Many times, people would suggest simply treating the Awakened as a completely independent race.

As for which race they had originally belonged to?

That could be completely ignored...

Even among lifeforms of the same race, there was already an unimaginable gulf between the Awakened and the non-Awakened.

It was as though they were separated by a heavenly chasm—the difference lay in their very levels of life...

And separating two entirely different groups so that they did not interfere with each other did indeed seem like the better option.

As an Awakened, as a true living dragon, Ectocollon found it inevitably inconvenient to have the weak staying by their side.

For example, an Awakened might accidentally crush a large number of mortals to death...

Though this proposal sounded reasonable, it concealed a great many dangers.

For example, all the other races would become targets for the Awakened to exploit.

Every race would be evaluated according to the probability and number of Awakened it could produce.

They would then receive corresponding material resources and energy based on their assessed overall value, using them to
