If The End Empire was a super-sized pie,

then under the effects of various special devices and the deliberate actions of the Transcendent Stage Awakened, that super-sized pie had now been secretly divided into countless pieces.

Moreover, each piece was connected to the others, but only weakly.

Although all sorts of people attempting to flee could still escape the divided regions through various channels after passing the necessary assessments, as though the regions were still linked together,

there were invisible barriers between the regions, resembling impassable chasms, when it came to the aftershocks of various attacks. Any such aftershocks would be forcibly pushed back. Even if they managed to cross those isolation zones, most of their destructive power and damage would often be reduced by the opposing side in the process.

In other words,

the closer these divided regions were to the Transcendent Stage Awakened currently fighting fiercely, the more damage and destruction they had to endure.

It was as though, when a bomb was detonated, a sealed shell suddenly appeared around it, forcibly restraining the shock wave and high temperature that should have spread outward...

There was no doubt about it.

For the affected regions, this was an extremely tragic matter.

The damage they had to endure rose exponentially!

All the destructive power that should have spilled out was completely unable to vent!

This directly caused many people who might otherwise have survived by sheer luck to lose all hope of survival...
