The Person Chosen by Zhao Tianlei

As the woman incited them, the people in the room began to respond. Regardless of anything else, these people had just survived an escape. Everyone knew the horror of those zombies all too well: terrifying appearances, immense strength, and difficulty in killing. A single scratch from them would turn a person into one of them.

Thinking of the infected woman who could turn into a zombie at any moment, everyone immediately gripped their weapons and pointed them at the man and the sister in his arms, shouting, "That's right, kill her! It's better to kill her now than let her turn into a zombie and threaten us all."

Only such people would be worthy of Zhao Tianlei's choice. It was clear that the man named Xu Yang, currently in the supermarket below, was the first teammate Zhao Tianlei wanted to recruit.

Hearing his sister speak, the man's eyes filled with tears. He dropped to his knees beside his sister, embracing her and crying, "Little sister, don't be afraid. You won't die. Brother will take you out and find you the best doctors. They will definitely be able to cure you. With me here, no one will hurt you. Anyone who dares to hurt you, I'll fight them to the death."

At this moment, someone in the crowd finally couldn't stand it and stepped forward, shouting at the man, "Hey, you! You're not as sensible as your sister. With that, the person, holding a steel pipe, walked directly towards the siblings. His expression showed that he was truly serious. Sensing the killing intent from the other party, the elder brother's eyes again flared with hostility as he shielded his sister.

Unexpectedly, a few more people rushed forward and, taking advantage of Xu Yang's momentary lapse, tackled him to the ground. His wooden stick was also snatched away. Xu Yang panicked. He was being restrained, and it was clear that these people would now harm his sister. Xu Yang roared again, "Bastards! Let me go! If anyone dares to touch my sister, I'll kill him! I will kill him!"

Xu Yang struggled and roared. One of the men pinning him down punched him directly on the side of his face and said fiercely, "Damn it, can you shut up? The zombies outside are already causing enough trouble. If you keep shouting like this, do you want to attract more zombies? If you don't shut up, I'll kill you first."

As for the men who were holding down Xu Yang, they also fled in panic. Xu Yang, however, heard the commotion and quickly got up, rushing to his sister's side and holding her tightly. This showed that even if zombies broke in, Xu Yang would fight to protect his sister. It was this familial love that made Zhao Tianlei even more satisfied.
