These zombies had originally been the sort that loved eating meat—especially the flesh of the living. Once they had something to eat, they generally paid no attention to anything else. Only when something approached them, threatened them, or disturbed their meal would they attack again.
So when Zhao Tianlei cautiously stepped forward and directly chopped down the three zombies clustered together and feeding, he did not attract the attention of the others. However, one zombie nearby noticed the living person that was Zhao Tianlei. It threw back its head and let out a furious roar at him, seemingly issuing a warning.
The zombie then lowered its head again, held the entrails in its hands, and began wolfing them down, completely ignoring Zhao Tianlei. If it had not been eating at that moment, it probably would have charged him the instant it saw him.

After Zhao Tianlei's furious cursing finally alerted the other zombies feeding in the hall, every one of them slowly climbed to its feet. It seemed they had all realized that this living person who had suddenly barged in and disturbed their meal was even more delicious.
