Rejected at the Door

The library's main entrance was locked from the inside, but it wasn't tightly sealed, allowing a view of the outside through the gap. Just as Zhao Tianlei was banging on the door, seeking help, the students inside saw the outside scene through the door's gap. Especially when they saw some zombies walking towards the steps, some students immediately cursed loudly at Zhao Tianlei and Wu Bin.

Hearing the curses from inside, Wu Bin immediately got angry and retorted, "What? We just saved you guys on the sports field moments ago. Let us in quickly."

"Tianlei, when we were saving people earlier, I clearly saw that scumbag Qian Hao trapped on the stage. But that guy didn't show any loyalty. Seeing us chased by zombies, he didn't care if we lived or died."

After Zhao Tianlei and Wu Bin fled from the library's main entrance, Wu Bin couldn't help but complain to Zhao Tianlei along the way. But after complaining, Wu Bin couldn't help but feel dejected, "Tianlei, what do we do? If we had just stayed in the dorm, we would have been fine. Now we can't even get into the library, and there are zombies everywhere on campus. I've dragged you down."

Zhao Tianlei quickly comforted him, "It's okay, brother. If we can't get in through the main entrance, we'll go through the back. Qian Hao treated us like this, and he even dared to hit our class monitor. I will never let him get away with it. However, as these zombies had only recently formed, their walking speed could be described as a turtle's pace. At this point, as long as they could carefully avoid them and not pass too close, they generally wouldn't be caught.

Arriving at the library's back door, which was more secluded, there wasn't a single zombie nearby. Zhao Tianlei hurried to pull the door, only to find it was still locked from the inside. Opening it from the outside would be difficult. It was an iron door, and even if Zhao Tianlei tried to chop it open with his fire axe, it was unlikely.
