His rapid promotion to First-Class Duke of the East made him fear that the Great Luo's end was approaching, and Hao Meili arrived in response to his summons.

Zhong Shan defeated the Great Ming Imperial Dynasty’s forces and waited for reinforcements while refusing to advance prematurely into the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. As the Three Great Sages brought their derived capitals into the Buddha Forbidden Hundred Thousand Great Mountains, Nian Youyou reappeared and joined Zhong Shan’s group.

• Zhong Shan sent Shui Wuhen’s army and Lin Xiao’s four hundred thousand Dragon Snakes against the Great Ming Imperial Dynasty, routing its forces and trapping the survivors in a valley.
• Zhong Shan waited for reinforcements, then had his forces and the Great Ming Temple defeat the arriving armies and sects before wiping out the Great Ming survivors.

Zhong Shan entered with his army while Nian Youyou stayed behind to find her master, who then forced her into the Pure Land and revealed that the sages’ skies did not repel them.

• Gu Shentong, Ying, and Nie Fanchen arrived at the Zen Courtyard with their armies, and Gu Shentong crushed one Bodhisattva and many defenders with his imperial seal.

After Gui Yuan Buddha sacrificed the Twenty-Four Heavens Dharma Wheel to break the Derivative Realm, Gu Shentong sent Zhong Shan away, leaving Nian Youyou’s master urging her to shoot him.

• Golden Cicada Buddha detonated the Seven-Colored Buddhist Beads, destroying the beads and the Black Jade Talisman while the resulting Black Hole shook the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

After surviving an ambush thanks to Princess Qian You’s Glass Heart Guard, Zhong Shan recovered and returned to Nian Youyou with three Seven-Colored Roses. Nian Youyou realized he had risked his life to get them, then vanished with the roses, leaving Zhong Shan alone in the valley.

• Nian Youyou broke through to the Emperor Realm after killing the person she loved, while the woman took the Peerless Bow and pursued her.
• An attacker shot Zhong Shan through the chest, but Princess Qian You’s Glass Heart Guard protected his Violet Palace; Zhong Shan and Corpse Mister escaped the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
