A streak of golden light enveloped Gannix.
A moment later, the golden light faded, and Gannix's level rose to LV9.
"Dilios... The battle's over?"
Gannix had just finished leveling up when Musa finally arrived.
Seeing Musa looking rather disheveled, Gannix teased, "Musa, don't tell me you got lost!"
"We ran into that Gnoll lord!"
Musa said gravely:
"It joined up with that White Wolf, broke through our defensive line, and fled back to its territory!"
"That White Wolf really refuses to die!"
Dilios looked fierce.
"Next time I run into it, I'll show it what cruelty means!"
If that White Wolf hadn't led the wolves to block the Spartan warriors,
the Gnolls and those blue-skinned monsters would have been completely wiped out by now.
"The Gnoll territory has expanded quite a bit!"
"And with that White Wolf there, it's no longer suitable to surround them."
Musa looked around. Gannix, who had just been standing in front of him, had vanished again when Musa wasn't paying attention.
With no other choice, Musa could only shout at the air:
"Gannix, the lord has decided to leave you here to monitor their movements. If you get the chance, try to reduce their fighting strength."
"No problem!"
Gannix's figure appeared in a tree some distance away.
"Leave it to me. I'll make those guys feel fear!"
"Mm. Contact us with the Communication Crystal if anything happens!"
Musa pulled out the crystal and gestured with it before saying to Dilios:
"The warriors found a small group of beasts to the west..."
At dusk,
Dilios and Musa led the Spartan Warriors back to the territory.
They brought back the corpses of more than a hundred wild monsters.
After last night's Beast Tide,
the wild monsters around the territory had grown numerous again.
There were even
