"Bishop Mana, what are these things for? Why are they being placed in the church?"
At the Church of Light in Village Mountain Territory, Divine Favorite Josie finished his morning prayers and watched Bishop Mana direct a group of priests to stack silvery metal pillars throughout the church. His face was filled with confusion.
He had no idea what material the metal pillars were made of, but they completely blocked his perception.
Even so, he could still sense that something was strange about them.
Hearing Josie's question, Bishop Mana first had several metal pillars placed behind the statue of the God of Light, then turned and said to Josie:
"They're supposedly equipment recently developed by the Alliance of Gods. I don't know what they're for either."
"The lord places great importance on this equipment and thinks it will be safer in the church, so he entrusted us with managing it for now."
"Couldn't they at least put them all together instead of scattering them everywhere?"
Several questions surfaced in Josie's mind. He was just about to ask when Bishop Mana interrupted him.
"I've been so busy that I nearly forgot about this."
Bishop Mana rested a hand against his forehead and said helplessly:
"Josie, go find the lord as soon as possible. He was looking for you earlier."
"Looking for me?" Josie's attention shifted. He asked in confusion, "What does the Village Mountain Lord want with me?"
"It should be related to the allied forces."
As Bishop Mana walked toward a priest who had knocked over a metal pillar, he said impatiently:
"I didn't ask about the specifics. I still have other things to do. You'll know once you go."
"Don't keep him waiting too long. The enemy could arrive at any moment. Don't delay the allied forces' plans."
