The wedding and New Year celebrations happened to coincide, keeping me so busy that my feet barely touched the ground. I was drunk most of the time and hardly ever sober.
This time, I finally woke up from the alcohol only to find myself unbearably thirsty, so I'll say a few words about the recent situation while boiling some water.
On the first day of the New Year, I went to visit the woman's relatives, introduce myself, connect with them, and get drunk. I only returned home yesterday morning.
The second day was spent hosting relatives at my own home, and I got drunk again.
On the third day, I first went to my uncle's house to celebrate the New Year in the morning. In the afternoon, I visited the woman's relatives whom I hadn't met yet, and got drunk again.
The hotel opens tomorrow, so I have to take my fiancée to book the wedding venue and arrange the wedding services—the wedding date is coming up too soon. If I have time, I also need to bring gifts and visit the two relatives of hers whom I haven't met yet...
Marriage really is a major event in life, and I have to treat it seriously.
However, I sincerely advise everyone not to get engaged or married right before or after the New Year. Everything is expensive, and there are a mountain of matters and formalities to deal with, which is extremely suffocating.
Also, I still haven't sorted out the plot of the new story I'm about to begin. With everything else weighing on me, I haven't been able to find the time to organize it, and I was already struggling with writer's block while writing before.
I'll try to set aside some time to write in the coming days.
