Kui Nianruo returned home in high spirits and blurted it out the moment she put down her book bag. Before she could answer her own question, Li Ying, who was lying on the chaise longue reading a novel, immediately replied, "Did you run into Teacher Yan? She told me she was going to give you trouble."
"Why?" Kui Nianruo looked as if she had been struck by lightning and instantly froze. "Why would she give me trouble?"
"Because she found out I copied your homework." Li Ying shamelessly explained, "You know how she always gives both the copier and the person whose work was copied fifty whacks each, so..."
"Li Ying—" Kui Nianruo flew into a rage. In an instant, the blood and qi within her surged, her blood claws took shape, and with a wolf's back and an eagle's eyes, she let out a shrill, earth-shaking meow before leaping into the air and pouncing straight at Li Ying—

Kui Nianruo thought it over. Oh, right. Current Affairs and Policies was a general course covering every year and department, and each department and year took it separately. She did not attend the same class as Li Ying, so she had not even attended class and submitted the homework yet!

"Because you wrote your own name in the paper. I didn't notice when I copied it, so I copied your name along with everything else..."
"Li Ying—" Kui Nianruo lunged
