A negligible tremor ran through a wisp of the Spirit Essence Blade for an instant, and then...

A gun barrel whistled out of Ji Jue's hand, slammed into the wall, then clattered to the floor, joining the other scrapped barrels piled into a small mountain.

Ji Jue's face turned livid. He took a deep breath and restrained the urge to curse, clawing at his hair and panting as he looked around, unable to find anything to vent his frustration on.

Little Cow and Horse had already caught the scent and fled. It did not dare show its face at all.

Then Yan Fei would have to take the hit.

Ji Jue vented by grading his homework, then doubled the punishment. His fundamentals were a complete mess—he could go back and practice some more.

That improved his mood slightly.

But when he turned back and saw barrel after barrel being fed through the lathe, rage flared up again.

Fundamentals—why was it Fundamentals again?

And how could his own fundamentals be a complete mess too?!

The reason fundamentals were called fundamentals was because there was no end to learning. You could practice them for an entire lifetime and never finish; there was only failing to improve, never reaching the end of it.

And now, Ji Jue had actually crashed head-on into a ceiling himself.

This was fucking absurd! He wanted to kill the client!

What kind of insane requirement was this?

Precision?

It was not even asking for absolutes. This requirement was so ridiculously basic that Ji Jue had never even noticed that one day, it could become difficult for him... There was no end to learning, no end to practice, and no end to the demand for precision.

By its very meaning, it represented zero error in the
