Three Batons Scatter Free Soul—Officer, I'm from Elephant Isle

Thick smoke billowed as the crowd roared.

On the street littered with wreckage, the surging crowd churned without order. Every face was filled with righteous indignation, and among them, someone held a loudspeaker and shouted:

"Down with the Chopra tyranny!"

"Elephant Isle belongs to all its people!"

"For Elephant Isle's future, for everyone's future!"

"Down with the Chopra Family's violent dictatorship!"

With wave after wave of chants, the crowd grew ever more frenzied. Amid the clamor came the sounds of shattering glass and screams. A dark-skinned immigrant woman was dragged out of a shop, her clothes torn to rags as she was pulled by the hair and thrown into an open space, where she was shoved, trampled, and cursed at.

The faces in the crowd were red with rage as they roared:

"Burn her! Burn that damned black bitch!"

Elsewhere, masked immigrants had already broken into the lavish commercial district, smashing, looting, and setting fires.

Then, amid the chaotic protest march, someone suddenly fired a gun.

Crying and screams sounded.

The two furious crowds collided, hurling Molotov cocktails and grabbing weapons as they formed groups to seek out their enemies, until a piercing warning rang out from the sky.

"Warning, warning—please lay down your weapons—"

Drones circled low overhead, their shrill loudspeakers repeating over and over: "Elephant Isle is about to enter martial law. Please lay down your weapons. Warning, please lay down your weapons—"

"Repeating: Elephant Isle is about to enter martial law. Please lay down your weapons. Warning, please lay down your weapons—"

"The countdown begins!"

Drones flashing red swept over the streets. Amid their shrieking flight, one shadow after another passed over the wreckage-strewn road and the chaotic crowd.

Like a flock of crows sweeping past dark clouds.
