Thank you all for your support. Once again, I've completed a volume.
I poured everything I had into finishing this volume, yet now that it's done, I can hardly call my feelings pride or excitement. There is far more apprehension and unease.
I've always wanted to try something new, but before I knew it, I started deliberately chasing novelty and change, putting the cart before the horse.
Only after coming back to my senses did I realize that by fixating solely on form, I had instead strayed from the essence of the story, making it even harder to tell.
I always wanted to put on a little something for everyone, but I accidentally bit a lighter again. I'm truly sorry—my sincerest apologies!
From here on, I'll keep myself in check and do my best to focus on the characters and plot!
But now that I've finished a volume, aside from a dry outline, my mind is empty once again.
My condition lately has truly been far from good. Besides my old problems and astigmatism, my anxiety symptoms have been getting worse by the day, to the point that I've been suffering from insomnia again and again.
I finally set up a moss terrarium, only to mess around with all sorts of flashy tricks and successfully tear it down and rebuild it twice in one month—even managing to kill the moss. I volunteered to feed Duo Duo for two days to cultivate some father-daughter bonding, but even the dog got diarrhea and ran away whenever it saw me. All I can say is, as expected of me.
The only thing worth mentioning is that, by gritting my teeth and holding on, I've lost quite a bit of weight. Unfortunately, I'm still overweight. I've been working hard at learning to swim, though
