A smile appeared at the corners of Chen Fan's mouth. It seemed Tsunade and Shizune had genuinely been frightened; one look at their expressions was enough to tell. Chen Fan said, "All right, you seem tired from running. You've been gambling for so long without eating, haven't you? If you don't eat something, you won't have the strength to run again."
Chen Fan's words made both Tsunade and Shizune blush. Only now did they remember that the man before them was a huge creditor—an even bigger creditor than all their former creditors combined. Running away was one thing, but they had been caught red-handed, and Chen Fan had even teased them about running away later. No matter how thick-skinned they were, they could not help feeling embarrassed.
"Sir, your order is ready," the waiter called to Chen Fan.
"Mm, got it," Chen Fan said. Then he smiled at Tsunade and Shizune. "Please do me the honor, ladies. Let's have a meal together. If you still want to play games after we eat, I'll continue to keep you company."
Tsunade and Shizune exchanged a glance, but Chen Fan put an arm around each of their waists and led them toward the table. Their faces reddened, but he was their major creditor, so they were too embarrassed to make a move against him.
Shizune gave Tsunade a resentful look, as if to say, See? Now we can't escape.
Soon, Tsunade and Shizune sat across from Chen Fan and wolfed down their food. They had been starving after all that running.
"Take your time. If there's anything else you want to eat, you can order more," Chen Fan said with a smile.
"Mmph! You really are such a kind, nice person!" Tsunade said while stuffing food into her mouth. Shizune nodded beside her.
