Orsola's face was full of regret as she prepared to leave. Stiyl took a drag from his cigarette. This was the correct choice; there was no need to start a war because of one person.
But just as Orsola was about to leave, Chen Fan grabbed her. Stiyl sighed. He knew that, with Chen Fan's personality, he would not stand by and do nothing, even if it meant starting a war.
Orsola froze, not knowing what Chen Fan intended to do. She looked at him in confusion, only to hear him say with a smile, "No one has ever been able to take the life of someone I, Chen Fan, have said I would save. And since those people have set their sights on me, they must be made to suffer a little."
Gratitude appeared on Orsola's face, but she knew this would not do.
"I know what you want to say. My protection comes with conditions. I heard that you own a church not too far from here, right?" Chen Fan interrupted Orsola.
Stiyl said nothing. He did not know what Chen Fan intended to do, so he watched him, wanting to hear what he would say next.

Chen Fan continued, "Would you mind changing the 'god' you believe in?"
"Do you mean you want me to join the Church of England?" Orsola asked tentatively. Stiyl suddenly thought of the same thing. It was not a bad idea. As long as Orsola joined the Church of England, Stiyl and the others could openly protect her.
But when he looked up at Chen Fan, he saw him wave his hand. "I have nothing to do with the Church of England. Why would I want you to join them?"
