She might still have a chance if she faced him head-on, but once she was truly driven into a corner, she would not even have the means to fight back. That would be true despair.

Chen Fan walked toward her step by step. He also got a clear look at this magician: golden hair, full breasts, a tall figure, smooth legs, and revealing clothes that made one's blood heat up involuntarily. She was a stunning mature beauty, wild and seductive.
Of course, while Chen Fan was sizing Orianna up, Orianna was sizing him up as well. He looked like a handsome seventeen- or eighteen-year-old boy, with sunglasses, black-and-white hair, and refined features. He was very much her type.
