"Yes! Yes!" The voice seemed startled. Of course, they knew how terrifying their bishop was, how cruel his methods could be. No one knew how many people this bishop had nailed to the ground with crosses...
Towering waves crashed toward every ship, utterly unstoppable. One could imagine the consequences of being struck by such waves—the ships could very well all be destroyed. Just as the waves were about to smash them apart, a blue barrier enveloped every vessel in the fleet.
The massive waves slammed against the barrier. Boom!!
The magical barrier trembled slightly, looking as though it might shatter at any moment, yet it held. Seawater cascaded down its surface, and the fleet remained unharmed.
"Bishop, the defense held! The fleet suffered no losses!"
"Ah...! Isn't that only natural? Why are you making such a fuss? We are the Queen's Fleet, not some scrap metal that gets wiped out by a few small waves! Wouldn't that make us the laughingstock of the world? No, I'm going to kill you! How did I ever choose you as a messenger? Once we destroy Academy City, I'll grant you holy judgment."
"N-No! Bishop! I was wondering why such enormous waves appeared on an otherwise calm sea. It simply defies common sense." The man hurriedly tried to make amends.

Chen Fan curled his lip as he looked at the unscathed Queen's Fleet. "Tch! I
