So now all of Academy City was calling Chen Fan its hero. Quite a few boys and girls had even started treating him as an idol. With both witnesses and evidence present, many students had seen Chen Fan last night, and he had saved quite a few people. Those people now worshipped Chen Fan beyond measure.
In an instant, Chen Fan sorted through Aleister's intentions in his mind and reached a conclusion. Aleister wanted to tie him to the ship that was Academy City, even using public opinion to do it. Chen Fan was truly growing more and more disgusted with that guy. He had never been the type to let others manipulate him. That guy seemed to have grown accustomed to controlling everyone in Academy City, so he wanted to control Chen Fan as well.
"What exactly is going on? Chen Fan, you must know something, right? You haven't gone back to the dorm these past few days, have you?" Fukiyose Seiri said to Chen Fan with her hands on her hips, staring straight into his eyes as though trying to stop him from lying. But she kept moving closer.
"Uh... Fukiyose, I don't mind, but we're about to bump into each other," Chen Fan said.
Fukiyose Seiri froze, then realized that everyone in the class was watching her. Her face immediately reddened. To cover up her embarrassment, she quickly grabbed Chen Fan's clothes and said, "Don't change the subject. Answer me already. Where have you been these past few days?"
You're the one changing the subject, everyone thought, but no one said it aloud.
"Well, I'm a little touched that a girl actually came looking for me at the dorm and all, but don't say that sort of thing in public!" Chen Fan said, seeming a little embarrassed.
