The girl's face flushed slightly again when she heard Chen Fan praise her. Chen Fan smiled at her, wondering where such a frail and timid girl had found the courage to want to fight monsters and level up. Though it did feel a little like she was overestimating herself, Chen Fan did not dislike people like that. At least she was trying to fight for it.

"Stay close behind me. If any monsters appear, I'll deal with them immediately," Chen Fan told them.
They all nodded. Chen Fan led them toward the second town, easily disposing of every newly spawned monster along the way. His effortless manner made them all deeply envious. Someone with skills like that could not possibly be ordinary in the real world either. He was most likely a swordsmanship master.
Calling someone his age a swordsmanship master was perhaps a bit excessive, but he had to be an extraordinary genius in the way of the sword, taught by a famous master. Their school had a kendo club as well.
They had seen and heard about it in passing, but surely no one there was as strong as Chen Fan.
"Chen Fan, your swordsmanship is incredible. Have you been practicing swordsmanship since childhood?" Qi Tai asked, looking at Chen Fan.
Chen Fan smiled. "More or less." He had truly learned to use a sword in the world of Shinigami, and it was during those decades in Hueco Mundo that he had raised his swordsmanship to a certain realm. With endless battles, Chen Fan's swordsmanship had naturally become unfathomable.
