"Then you should go blind right now," Lucy retorted.
Suddenly, Rocky noticed the string of keys on Lucy's belt. He took a few steps back and asked fearfully, "Are you a Celestial Spirit Mage?"
"Yeah, she's got things like bulls and crabs," Happy popped up as well, a fish of who-knew-what-number dangling from his mouth.
"Ah... what a cruel twist of fate. I'm sorry, but this is where we part ways." With tears streaming down his face, he ran out of the guild.
"Did we even start?" Lucy asked doubtfully as she watched Rocky sprint away.
"Rocky isn't good with Celestial Spirit Mages. I heard something happened between him and a girl in the past," Mira explained with a smile.
"Bang..." Natsu crashed into Lucy, knocking her to the ground. Still, he was much better than Chen Fan had been back then—at least he hadn't passed out.
"How can we back down from a fight that comes knocking at our door? Ah..." Gray said to Natsu. "I told you, your clothes," Kana said again.
"You're the one looking for trouble, you damned droopy-eyed bastard."
"When exactly did I look for trouble, you damned hanging-eyed bastard?"
The two started arguing again, while everyone else in the guild watched Natsu and Gray bicker with smiles, thoroughly enjoying themselves.
Suddenly, "Bang!!"
"Something's wrong!" came a cry. Rocky, who had just run out, burst through the door, panting heavily. When he raised his head, his face was grave as he said, "Erza is back."
Everyone in the guild shuddered, their legs trembling slightly. No one dared laugh and chat loudly anymore.
"Erza? The Erza Natsu mentioned?" Lucy asked in confusion.
"That's right. She's Fairy Tail's strongest Mage," Mira had barely finished speaking when a rhythmic set of footsteps sounded: "Thud, thud, thud."
"It's Erza."
"It's Erza's footsteps."
"Erza is back."
After a while, a figure walked into the guild carrying a massive horn on her shoulder. With a "Bang!!!", she set the huge horn on the floor.
"I'm back. Is the Master here?" Erza asked.
"Welcome back. The Master went to attend a routine meeting," Mira replied with a smile.
"I see." Erza nodded, then her expression suddenly changed. "During my journey, I heard rumors that Fairy Tail has caused all sorts of trouble again. Even if the Master lets it slide, I won't forgive you." She turned to Kana. "Kana, what kind of posture is that for drinking?"
Startled, Kana put down the enormous wine barrel.
"Bishida."
"Yes."
"If you want to dance, do it outside. Seeing you dance here reminds me of someone I really dislike. Wakaba, your ash is falling. Nab, are you still wandering around in front of the request board as usual? Go find some work. Macao, sigh..." She sighed, making Macao squirm all over as he said, "Please, just say something."
"You're all such a headache. I won't say anything today," Erza said, rubbing her forehead.
"It sounds like she's already said plenty," Lucy muttered, dark lines appearing over her head.
Then she turned, covered her mouth with one hand, and whispered to Mira, "Is she some kind of Disciplinary Committee member? She's a little naggy, but there's no need to be this scared of her, right?"
