Fairy Tail: Vector Manipulation

"Boom! 30 million volts! Thunder Beast!" Enel struck the great drum on Left Shoulder Mountain with the metal rod in his hand. "Crackle..." A bolt of lightning appeared on the drum, rapidly transformed into the shape of a giant lightning wolf, and lunged at the two of them with bared fangs.

Ranch held Aisha tightly, refusing to let her see such a scene. Their bodies trembled uncontrollably as they awaited death. Running away had no meaning at all.

A strange sound suddenly rang out. Bang! The Thunder Beast shattered instantly.

Enel's expression changed. Ranch and Aisha realized that they had apparently not died in Enel's attack. They raised their heads in surprise and looked ahead, only to see a broad back blocking their view. They felt that as long as they stood behind that back, no danger could reach them. Even if the sky fell, the man before them could hold it up with his body.

"Hey... hey... Attacking women and children? You really are human trash, Enel." Chen Fan's teasing voice rang out.

Enel looked at Chen Fan and asked, "And who are you?"

"Me? I'm a hero for fun." Chen Fan smiled at Enel.

"If you're a hero, why don't you go defeat villains? What are you doing here?" Enel raised a brow.

Chen Fan put on an exaggerated expression. "Hey! Don't tell me you've forgotten. You were just attacking my woman. You nearly struck her with lightning! Good thing I stopped it, or who knows how dangerous it would've been."

Ranch's face turned bright red. What was this newcomer talking about? His woman? When had she become the woman of someone she did not even know?

"Oh... So you're one of the five illegal intruders."
