Kiba jumped in fright. He could feel a piercing gaze roaming across his back, making the hairs on his body stand on end. Although Kurenai Yuhi usually spoiled them, every teacher gave their students a show of force when first taking over a team. It was practically an unwritten rule, meant to make these proud students behave and teach them the principles of being a ninja. Most importantly, they had to respect their teacher.
Kurenai Yuhi had used Illusion Magic on the three of them, letting them taste pain. Even now, they still felt afraid whenever they thought about it.
