• Chen Fan woke on Amazon Lily, reunited with Nami and Vivi, and used Little One and the other Sea Kings to bargain with Hancock for the islanders’ safety.
• Hancock asked Chen Fan to protect Amazon Lily if she lost her Seven Warlords title, and Chen Fan removed the slave marks from her and her sisters.
• Chen Fan left Amazon Lily with the Sea Kings guarding the island and sailed to Jaya Island to learn about the Knock Up Stream.
• Ace demanded that Chen Fan return the Darkness Fruit, but Chen Fan defeated him and extracted his Flame-Flame Fruit as Marco arrived to take Ace away.
• The Navy raised Chen Fan’s bounty to 800 million Beli, and Chen Fan gave Ace’s Flame-Flame Fruit to Nami, who ate it.
• Chen Fan and his crew sailed into the giant whirlpool, rode the Knock Up Stream into the sky, and landed on the Sea of Clouds.

Chen Fan and his crew fought Enel’s forces on Sky Island and joined the struggle over God’s Island. Chen Fan defeated Enel, took the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, and left Robin to examine a Poneglyph.

• Chen Fan and his crew reached Sky Island, met Conis and Pagaya, and clashed with Captain Magellan’s enforcers after refusing their entry fee.
• Nami revealed her Flame-Flame Fruit powers and defeated Magellan’s squad, then Chen Fan protected her from Enel’s lightning and challenged him.
• Gan Fall guided the group toward God’s Island and explained the conflict over its soil, while Aisha and Wappa prepared the guerrillas to fight Enel.
• Chen Fan’s crew fought Enel’s priests as the guerrillas attacked Enel, who overwhelmed Wappa and the others with lightning.
• Chen Fan shielded Ranch and Aisha from Enel, reflected his lightning, and pursued him toward the Ark Maxim as the other women defeated the priests.
• Enel boarded the Ark Maxim and began summoning lightning to destroy Sky Island, but Chen Fan broke through his Thunder Dragon and confronted him.
• Chen Fan blocked Enel’s attacks, wrecked the Ark Maxim, knocked Enel unconscious, and took the Rumble-Rumble Fruit.
• Nami celebrated the gold with Chen Fan, Robin examined a Poneglyph, and Gan Fall arrived with his injured bird.

After defeating Enel, Chen Fan took his crew to Water 7, where Robin left with CP9 and Franky was captured. Chen Fan pursued them to Enies Lobby, uncovered the Government’s plan to capture him, and began fighting its forces as CP9 reunited.

• Chen Fan defeated Enel, took the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, and left Sky Island with his crew after the residents celebrated their freedom.
• Sea Kings attacked Chen Fan’s ship, but he killed them before the group reached Water 7 and exchanged treasure for money to arrange repairs.
• At Galley-La, Iceburg sent Kaku to inspect Chen Fan’s damaged ship, while Kaku secretly delivered a message to Robin and Robin left a note asking the crew not to look for her.
• After Franky was captured and Iceburg was attacked, Chen Fan fought Galley-La employees, learned CP9 was involved, and flew to the Sea Train to pursue Robin.
• Chen Fan boarded the train carrying Robin and Franky, fought Kaku and Lu Qi, and stopped resisting when Lu Qi used Robin as leverage.
• Chen Fan confronted Jenyfer after discovering the Government intended to lure him to Enies Lobby, and Jenyfer agreed to join him if the mission failed.
• At Enies Lobby, Chen Fan defeated waves of government soldiers while Lu Qi and Kaku brought Robin and Franky to Spandam, who revealed the Government wanted Chen Fan’s Devil Fruit power to build an army.
• Chen Fan entered Spandam’s office as the returning CP9 members gathered, and a soldier warned him that Admiral Akainu was coming.

Chen Fan rescued Robin and Jenyfer from Enies Lobby, defeated Akainu, and escaped with his companions after making a deal with Aokiji. While the Navy prepared for Chen Fan’s eventual return, his new ship set sail for the New World, and Robin and Jenyfer wondered about his past.

• Chen Fan fought CP9 at Enies Lobby, where Jenyfer urged the agents to surrender and stayed with him while Robin escaped through an underground submarine passage.
• Akainu ordered the Navy to bombard Enies Lobby, but Chen Fan hurled boulders at the warships and went out to confront him as the island was destroyed.
• Chen Fan endured Akainu’s magma attacks and broke Enies Lobby loose, then defeated Akainu and demanded his Magma-Magma Fruit.
• Aokiji arrived with Robin, Jenyfer, and the others, and Chen Fan agreed to leave Navy Headquarters alone in exchange for their freedom before disabling Akainu and departing with the submarine.
• Chen Fan returned to Water 7 with Robin and Jenyfer, while the injured Akainu was imprisoned and later taken to Vegapunk for modifications as the Navy concealed his defeat.
• Chen Fan’s new ship set sail for the New World, and Tashigi asked him not to fight Navy Admirals unless they provoked him.
• As the crew weathered storms and Sea King attacks, Robin and Jenyfer discussed their growing closeness and Robin revealed that Boa Hancock and her sisters were involved with Chen Fan.
