"I told you ghost stories were scary, but you didn't believe me. Do you believe me now?"
Covered by the blanket, Candy stubbornly said, "I'm just... not scared."
Her tone sounded rather shaky no matter how you heard it. Those little hands clutching the blanket tightly had already betrayed Candy.
