Unlike the worry on Mo Jingchun's face, Candy was more curious about the Space Shuttle's cockpit.
What did the inside of the cockpit look like?
Could she fly this big thing all over the sky too?
Looking at Candy's expression, Zero chuckled and whispered in her ear:
"Do you want to see what it looks like inside?"
Candy turned to Zero in delighted surprise. "Zero, can you take me up to have a look?"
"No."
Candy's face fell at once.
If she couldn't, why had he sounded so eager? He'd made her think he was going to take her inside the Space Shuttle for a look around.
Seeing Candy's reproachful gaze, Zero gave an awkward smile and explained, "The Space Shuttle's test flight is imminent. Since yesterday, no one except the engineers responsible for inspections has been allowed inside without permission. Not even I can go in."
"Wrong! The pilot can go in too!"
"The pilot?" Zero grinned. "That's me. For the first test flight, no one would dare let a real person pilot the Space Shuttle. Besides, the Space Shuttle is fully automated and intelligent. With guidance from the ground, it can fly without a pilot controlling it manually."
Candy frowned. "Then why does it need a pilot or a cockpit?"
"You're wrong again. In many unexpected situations, manual control is actually the safest option."
"Besides... the boss said we're building these to sell. If there's no cockpit, who would buy one?" Candy furrowed her brow, not quite understanding.
Just then, a woman in a black suit and thick glasses hurried toward Mo Jingchun and the others from the distance.
Seeing a stranger sprinting toward them at full speed, Wild Wolf simply waved a hand, and four or five people moved to block Mo Jingchun's path.
"She's my secretary,"
