Beaming, Zero patted her little chest and said confidently, "With me around, nothing can go wrong."

Then Zero rubbed her little hands together excitedly, looked up at Mo Jingchun, and asked hopefully,
"Boss, look. For your safety and Candy's, don't you think it's time to upgrade my body, too? A lot of the electronic components inside are starting to wear out, and my combat power is nowhere near what it used to be."
Mo Jingchun looked down at Zero's hopeful expression. It was something else. If he hadn't known better, even a human trafficker might have fallen for it.
