Big Treasure and Little Treasure both loved the story. They listened with rapt attention, and the two little ones even started imitating Su Chen's gestures.
Only after they had both fallen asleep did Su Chen stop telling the story. He stood up, tucked in Big Treasure and Little Treasure, and sent them off into their dreams.
When he was done, Su Chen took another look at the two little ones. Then he heard Mu Ziqing's voice behind him. "Honey? Are the kids still awake?"
Su Chen turned to Mu Ziqing with a smile and whispered, "They're asleep."
After saying that, Su Chen put an arm around Mu Ziqing's waist and said, "Come on, let's go back to bed too."
