As soon as the call connected, Zhou Qianqian slipped right into character and cried out in a tearful voice, "Brother Chen~~"
As if she'd suffered a terrible grievance.

"Mm, looks like you've been through a lot," Su Chen said.
"Actually, it's nothing~"

Fuming from head to toe, Zhou Qianqian's hands trembled as she found the number of that ugly, old rich man in her contacts and called him.

"Good. Let's put everything in the trunk first." Su Chen stood up, took the apple his second daughter had peeled especially for him, and finished it in a few quick bites.
Then he led his daughters in sorting and moving their things.
He took care of the heavy stuff and left the lighter, easier-to-carry things for the girls.
At first, both daughters agreed with his division of labor. But then Su Yinuo refused to go along with it. She thought the things were too light, so she picked up Su Chen's suitcase and carried it downstairs herself.
"Dad, this suitcase is light. I'm not like Big Sis—I'm strong. Don't underestimate me."
Seeing that his second daughter really did have impressive arm strength, Su Chen didn't stop her.
The three of them made three or four trips, and everything that needed to be moved was moved.
Everything left behind was stuff Su Chen didn't want.
The apartment was a little messy after they finished moving, so Su Chen called the cleaner and asked her to come tidy it up.
He planned to call the landlord the next day and tell him he was moving out.
After the call, Su Chen put his eldest daughter's bicycle in the trunk and had both girls get in.

The underground garage was for residents with their own parking spaces.
Su Chen parked in his spot, then put his daughter's bicycle in the space beside it.
"Dad, this parking space—" Su Zihan began to ask.
Su Chen smiled. "Both of these adjoining spaces are mine. You can keep your bikes here from now on."
"Wow, Dad, you bought two parking spaces too? That's amazing!" Su Zihan cheered.
It looked like her dad had really made a fortune in the stock market!
Otherwise, how could he have paid cash for a huge house worth over 25 million and bought two parking spaces on top of that?
Parking spaces here couldn't be cheap. Each one probably cost hundreds of thousands, maybe even over a million.
That was enough to buy an apartment in a second-tier city.
Su Chen and his two daughters carried everything from the trunk up to their new home.
The building he'd rented before had no elevator, but this one did.
The King of the Building really was something else.
By the time they'd finished everything, it was already ten at night.

The second daughter lounged across the three-seater sofa with one leg hooked over the armrest, looking cool as she played with her phone.
Su Chen saw the scene and smiled fondly before carrying his suitcase into the master bedroom.
He took out the property deed and other documents, photographed them, then put them in the safe.
The wardrobe in the master bedroom even came with a safe. How thoughtful.
Sitting on the sofa in the master bedroom, Su Chen posted to Moments.
Since acknowledging his daughters and activating the system—and getting a car, money, and a house—he hadn't posted anything.
Now that he'd built up so much, it was finally time to bombard his Moments.
The pictures he posted were: the property deed, with the building and unit numbers blurred so only the name of the complex was visible; his blue Alphard minivan; a screenshot of that day's stock trades showing the shares hitting their daily limit up—after all, he'd suddenly acquired so many houses and cars, and without a source of income, people might think the money was dirty; and a screenshot of the seafood feast they'd eaten that night, with three sets of bowls and chopsticks in the picture.

The caption read: "Nineteen years drifting in Beijing, and now I finally have a house and a car. Treating myself to a seafood feast."
Once he'd finished writing the caption, he posted it.
As soon as the post went up, people started liking and commenting.
"No way! No way! No way!!!"
"What's going on? Somebody tell me! Oh my god, a duplex in Warmth Community! Three hundred square meters of registered floor area!"
"Good grief! And he's got the property deed too! That means Brother Su bought the place outright!"
"I looked it up on Anjuke. This unit in the complex has to cost at least 25 million, and that's just for the unfinished shell!"
