"Okay." Su Ye nodded.
Then Su Chen and Su Ye walked into the market.
There were all sorts of things in the market, including daily necessities and items like monster shinbones and hides.
"These are the beast bones of the Abyss Race," Su Chen said.
He examined the bones closely and found them incredibly hard and sharp—sharp enough to cut through iron and stone. They were quite the find.
Su Chen picked up a hide from the Abyss Race and gently stroked it. To his surprise, it was incredibly soft.
"Mm, this hide really is excellent," Su Chen praised.
Su Ye also saw that the hides were indeed very nice.
The stall owner saw that Su Chen could recognize the beast bones and hides. Looking at him, he said, "Brother, you've got a good eye. You really know your stuff—you spotted these right away."
Su Chen put the hides back, then asked the vendor at the neighboring stall, "Big brother, how much are your hides?"
The vendor was quite friendly. "Little brother, these hides don't come cheap."
"What do you mean?" Su Chen asked, puzzled.
The vendor said, "The cheapest hide I have here starts at ten thousand points. Do you think you can afford one?"
Ten thousand points?
Su Chen froze for a moment. He hadn't expected the hides to cost so much.
But there was a good reason the Abyss Race's hides were so expensive, and they were incredibly soft, too.
Su Chen thought that if he could get Lin Wanxue and Su Ye some outfits before the fighting started, it would be pretty nice.
"Big brother, may I ask how you earn points here?" Su Chen asked the vendor.
The vendor looked Su Chen and Su Ye up and down. "You two are outsiders, aren't you?"
"Mm,
