True Gods could merge with their own Divine Paths and entrust their True Spirits to them. As long as the Divine Path endured, their souls would not dissipate.
But for most True Gods, as long as you restrained their physical bodies, you could still capture the souls residing in their Divine Paths. It simply took a long time to refine them, since you had to forcibly extract them from the Abyss's chaotic laws and grind them away.
They were hard to kill, sure, but not to this ridiculous degree.
The Divine Path Venerables and demigods under a True God couldn't bear a complete Divine Path. You only had to deal with the True God.
But Main Gods were a whole different problem...
