Dragon Might had originally wanted to invite Tao Yu to stay at his enormous villa. As Hong Kong's hottest action star at the moment, Dragon Might was quite wealthy himself and owned a luxurious villa on Victoria Peak.
But Tao Yu had come to make his presence felt. Simply staying in the rich district would have kept him too far removed from ordinary life.
He also wanted to see more of how many different worlds had been stitched together in this place.
"Young Master, many prominent people in Hong Kong have sent you invitations. Do you have any thoughts on what you'd like to do?"
Old John had brought over several invitations. None of Hong Kong's Four Great Families had been left out. Their fortunes alone far exceeded the assets Tao Yu had inherited, and even Old John, proud as he was, took them quite seriously.
"That's quite a few. Let's find a time to meet them all together."
Tao Yu didn't act too aloof. Most of these tycoons had invited him because of his title; the invitations were purely a matter of social etiquette.
In terms of practical benefit, Tao Yu couldn't offer them anything, at least not on the surface.

"I think so too. There's a famous jewelry exhibition coming up at the hotel where we're staying. It features many one-of-a-kind pieces from around the world, so it would be a good opportunity to meet them all."
