Tao Yu had some familiarity with the world of The Boys. It was quite different from traditional superhero stories, and its superheroes were especially defined by their "humanity."

Compared with the selfless, upright superheroes of traditional stories, they were much closer to real people—and not exactly the most morally upright sort. Or, to put it another way, they were like ordinary people who had suddenly gained great power and become psychologically twisted as a result.

Very "down-to-earth."

The artificially created superheroes in that world varied wildly in strength, and most were like younger versions of DC superheroes.

Though they were all younger versions, the strongest among them were still very powerful.

Take Homelander, the top-tier T0, for example. He could fly faster than the fastest fighter jet, throw a baseball into space, and withstand a strategic nuclear bomb in the megaton range. He was practically impossible to kill.

As for the scope of his destructive power, he could make up for that with his heat vision. He was a textbook disaster-level threat.

His strength came from stacking up the basics: defense, speed, and physical power.

But aside from Homelander, none of the other superheroes reached disaster-level. Each had their own strengths, and each had clear weaknesses.
